I jumped into the writing industry as a ghostwriter at Textbroker. My first article included an SEO keyword to insert, and I taught myself how to do it. While my rusty writing style barely met clients' specifications, I gained experience. I ventured into other content marketplaces to diversify my writing experience. Still, it wasn't until I interned at Reflect & Refresh and ghostwrote at Verblio that I sharpened my writing technique and understood what clients want.In 2016, I wrote bylined articles on sites like Inman and Born2Invest. I wrote a guest post on LifeHack and maintained my ghostwriting skills with a guest post on iTechFy.The Middle
As I continued to press forward, a LinkedIn conversation that converted into an email conversation led me to my first personal client in 2018. That was web content writing and product descriptions for the client's painting website.In 2021, I scored my first contract writing job at Growth Machine, a content marketing agency. I dived headfirst into long-form articles, a writing style in high demand today. My long-form writing expertise led me to ghostwrite for Swanky Den, a home decor website owned by Galileo Ventures, in 2022.The next year, I scored another personal client after writing a sample at WriterAccess.
